As you near the final clearing, you can see that the spirit poles lie broken, and the halls of all you knew are now but smoking ruins. Broken spears and cracked arrows litter the ground, but whomever committed these acts left none of their own behind.
As you turn and survey the damage, you notice that one spirt pole does remain, that of your Lord, the Summoner. Though familiar, you see that the carvings there have changed, subtly, so that Harrus (the Falcon) seems to be clutching an odd, sabre-like sword in his claws. In another scene, Nemoud (the Hound) can be seen digging at the base of a great stone sword, clearly agitated about something. Even Ca'rolk (the Sea-Lizard) can be seen swimming in a great river towards the sea, three images you know were not there before.
As you survey the pole further, you see a map of the lands you know, and many you do not. Some dark stain blots out the lands around the Yatils, and a series of rings seem to reach ever outwards from somewhere south of Veluna. Smoke and ash pour from the Rift, and iron gates thrown wide seem superimposed upon the lands of the Hierarchs. Bright points can be seen, however. One spark glows close to the Jotens, and another near the east of the Cairn Hills. One fitful spark burns near the edges of the stain by the Yatils, and a fourth in the wastes near the icy sea.
