Though technically larger than Luna, Celene's orbit is further out, causing her to appear much smaller than her neighbor. Lacking an appreciable atmosphere (outside of some of the larger craters, anyway), her surface details are usually quite visible to astronomers on Liga. To further taunt Liga-based observers, the remains of what must have been cities, roads, and vast monuments can be picked out with modern spyglasses and telescopes.



What few visitors have returned from Celene report only that those cities are now populated by undead representatives of a dozen or more races, any one of which might (or might not) have been the original builders of those cities. Investigators have noted, however, that the builders were quite likely larger than humans, as most rooms and ceilings seem designed for beings of 10-12 feet in height.
